Rudyard Area Schools Native Learning Center provides supplemental education support to students of documented American Indian ancestry. Each year the Native Learning Center applies for federal funding through the Indian Education Formula Grant program, Title VII. Any student who has a completed 506 form on file in the Native Learning Center is eligible for support.

The purpose of our Title VII program is to improve the academic success of the American Indian/Alaskan Native student through services that support their culturally related learning needs. The Title VII Native Learning Center Project focus is on two specific areas:
    1. Enhance problem solving and cognitive skills development in grades K-8
    2. Increase Academic achievement in all grades

The goal of the Native Learning Center is to ensure a quality education for all students and to mirror the vision of Rudyard Area Schools. Which is to build, nurture and respect individual needs in and out of the classroom. Together with integrity and accountability, we will educate, challenge and prepare every student for success, in a safe and orderly environment.
